Carmelita Santangelo

Carmelita Santangelo has a background in nutrition and got involved in AMS Designs initially to help out during a time when the company was going though a growth spurt and never left. She became so passionate about the company and the work it was doing she decided to go to cosmetology school and get her license, at which time she jumped in with both feet.

Carmelita got involved with the American Cancer Society and the Look Good Feel Better Program and was instrumental in bringing the program most of the leading oncology hospitals and centers in the Chicagoland area. She also focused on the chemical aspect of the business and quickly became one of the industry experts on the color and other chemical related aspects of the field. Carmelita has been the featured teacher at several of the American Hair Loss Council Symposiums and the Midwest Beauty Show.

As AMS Designs has evolved so has the scope of Carmelita’s focus, not only is she one of the owners, she has become the key facilitator of the administrative development of AMS Desings. She has also directed her attention toward the researching of the products used and sold at AMS Designs. With her knowledge and background the clients at AMS Designs will always be treated to the best the industry has to offer.
